How to Create a Google Classroom
Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Create a Google Classroom:
- Go to Google Classroom.
- Click the + icon in the top right corner.
- Select Create class and follow the prompts to set up your class.
- Invite Students:
- Inside your class, click People in the top menu.
- Click the Invite icon next to Students.
- Enter student email addresses or share the class code with your students.
- Create an Assignment:
- Go to the Classwork tab.
- Click Create and select Assignment from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the title and instructions for the assignment.
- Add any relevant attachments, such as documents, links, or videos. You can use the Google Drive icon to add files from your Google Drive.
- Set the due date and time if needed.
- You can also add a topic to help organize assignments by categories.
- Assign the Work:
- Once you have filled in all the necessary details, click Assign to post the assignment immediately.
- Alternatively, click the dropdown arrow next to Assign to schedule the assignment for a later date or save it as a draft.
- Review and Grade Assignments:
- Go to the Classwork tab and click on the assignment you want to review.
- Click View assignment to see submitted work.
- Click on individual student submissions to review and grade them.
- Enter grades and add private comments for feedback.
- Click Return to send the graded assignment back to the student.
